For 2025's spring show, the shared desire to travel helped inform the theme of the show. Building upon my interest in design systems, Wanderlust features a series of ticket designs inspired (and including direct recreations of) 1930s Milwaukee Transit Passes by the Milwaukee Electric Railway & Light Company. Across a mix of recreations and original designs, I created 30 different ticket designs, along with three different colorways of each design to build out the poster and program cover, spelling out both "Rockettes" and "Wanderlust". In the lobby, large 1.5-foot printed copies of the ticket designs were torn and assembled to spell both, in large 6-8 foot banners over doorways and concessions. The title treatment used both in on-screen video and the title on the poster featured the variable weights of Jason Santa Maria's new Citywide font, and was printed on clear vinyl stickers for the eight doors to the auditorium, further building upon the opportunities to make the show special in this space. VIP Passes were created for special guests (kids) attending the show, and hundreds of tickets with every letter were printed and available for guests to spell their names and take some souvenir tickets home.
